A few weeks ago I wrote about the Marriott Sweepstakes that is running through November 8th. Well I wanted to provide an update on where we are standing right now. As a reminder you can play every day. Overall I have been pretty good about playing once a day for Elli and myself.
We had mostly won 50 points per day with a few duds in there as well. A few days ago I was lucky enough to get 1,000 points on my account. However today was a great day for our household. Elli did win 500 points and I hit it big with 10,000 points.
With 11 days to go I will continue to play and hope to get some additional prices out of this. This already has been a successful Sweepstakes for us.
As you can see the 10,000 alone would be enough for a free night at the lowest, based on Marriott’s award chart. Just last weekend we redeemed 17,500 for a one night stay at a wedding. Therefore through this game we already almost recovered those points.
Summary
Persistence is paying off and glad I have been playing consistently. These points will come in handy. Overall this is already close to a free night for us, which is not too shabby. That’s why I love this hobby!
