A couple of years ago Chase made a big splash with the Chase Sapphire Reserve card. I know many people who have the card in their wallets today. I am one of those and still get tremendous value out of it. Up to this point Chase had never offered any retention offers on this card.

Usually the incentive is for the company to keep you as a customer and continue to pay the annual fee. However American Express has been offering retention offers on no fee cards. For me one of them is the American Express Business Blue credit card.
