After landing in Chiang Mai, we got a taxi through the taxi desk at the airport. The ride to Le Meridien took about 20-25 minutes and took us directly through the Old City of Chiang Mai. The hotel sits right outside the Old City across a small river.

Life can be funny sometimes. We had planned to spend this weekend in St. Andrews by the Sea in Canada. However, we ended up in Charlotte, North Carolina and are enjoying a relaxing weekend here. Thank you, Chicago thunderstorms.
Hotel Review: St. Regis Bangkok
The St. Regis was our home base while we were in Bangkok. This is another installment in our Thailand trip report. We stayed here for four nights including our first night when we arrived at 3am.
