After landing in Chiang Mai, we got a taxi through the taxi desk at the airport. The ride to Le Meridien took about 20-25 minutes and took us directly through the Old City of Chiang Mai. The hotel sits right outside the Old City across a small river.

Flight Review: Thai Airways BKK to CNX
This is going to be slightly different review. This flight was only 40 min and took us from Bangkok to Chiang Mai, our second stop in Thailand. The uniqueness of the flight is that it was operated by a 777 which are usually used for long-haul international routes.

One of the cool things we planned for our time in Bangkok was to eat at Gaggan. For most people it might sound familiar thanks to the Netflix show “Chef’s Table”, as Gaggan was featured in Season 2.

The St. Regis was our home base while we were in Bangkok. This is another installment in our Thailand trip report. We stayed here for four nights including our first night when we arrived at 3am.
